Give your agent sources you trust

Toopost keeps a fresh, deduplicated, full-text inbox of the sources you chose. Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and scripts read it through the MCP server, the toopost CLI or the REST API.

Connect AI agents to your trusted sources

The same inbox, three doors. An agent gets fresh, deduplicated, full-text posts from sources you chose, instead of whatever a web search returns.

MCP server

Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or any client with streamable HTTP. OAuth sign-in, read-only tools: search_posts, get_post_content, get_posts, get_feeds, get_saved_posts, analyze_trends.

claude mcp add --transport http toopost https://mcp.toopost.us

toopost CLI

One npm package, no runtime dependencies. Run it once: it signs you in and opens a menu with feed, search, ask, saved and sources. Every command also works non-interactively with --json for scripts and coding agents.

npm: toopost ↗
npx toopost

REST API

API tokens with scopes, a live Swagger UI and an OpenAPI 3.0 spec your agent can read. Send posts to webhooks, receive pushes through a webhook inbox, schedule automations.

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOOPOST_TOKEN" https://go.toopost.us/api/feed?since=24h

MCP server

Remote server at https://mcp.toopost.us, streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE. Read-only.

Use the toopost CLI to read my feed: run `toopost feed --json --since 24h`, pick the 5 most important posts, read each with `toopost read <id> --json`, and give me a short briefing with links. If a command exits with code 3, ask me to run `toopost login`.

FAQ

Which plan do I need?
MCP requires Maxi. The CLI and API tokens require Pro or Maxi. Every account starts on Free; upgrade in the app when you want to connect an agent.
Can an agent change my data?
MCP is read-only: it searches and reads posts, sources, saved posts and statistics. It does not add sources, edit posts or publish. The CLI can also follow and unfollow sources and save posts. API tokens have scopes you choose.
How does sign-in work?
MCP uses OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE. The CLI uses OAuth Authorization Code with PKCE and a loopback redirect, so no secret is typed into the terminal. CLI tokens last 90 days and renew while in use. Headless agents and CI pass an API token as TOOPOST_TOKEN.
What does an agent see?
Only what the tools it calls return: titles, article text, URLs, dates, authors, saved posts and aggregates from the sources you follow. You can revoke any token in Connections at any time.
