From source to answer in four steps
- 01
Add trusted sources
Paste a URL and Toopost finds the feed, sitemap or listing: news, job boards, docs, release pages, pricing pages. Follow Telegram, YouTube and Reddit channels, watch a page for changes, or import OPML. Discover suggests sources by topic, country and language.
- 02
Read one inbox
Every source becomes a post with the same fields. Stories group the same news across sources. Filter by folder, source, date or unread. Save with a note. Mark read by scrolling.
- 03
Search and ask AI
Press ⌘K. Full-text search with site:, from:, after: and before:. Ask a question and get an answer with numbered citations into your own sources. Translate any article.
- 04
Turn it into output
Save, rewrite, translate and version posts, then publish through webhooks. Automate digests and alerts. Hand the whole inbox to an AI agent through MCP, the CLI or the API.
Read or filter fast. Use AI when needed.
Less noise, more signal. Your feed comes first, and the tools show up when you need them.
Search that understands dates and sources
Full-text search over everything you follow. Operators like site:, from:telegram, after:2026-10-01 and "last week". Instant matches while you type.
AI answers with citations
Ask about one article or your whole feed. Every claim links to the post it came from. Same AI models on every plan; plans differ in AI usage.
Stories, not duplicates
The same news from five sources becomes one story. Switch to all posts when you want every item.

FAQ
Toopost is a search engine and reader for sources you trust: like Google, but only across sources you chose, with no duplicates, filler or ads. It brings your trusted sources into one inbox: RSS and Atom feeds, any website, Telegram, YouTube, Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon, podcasts, GitHub and more. Every item becomes a post with the same fields, so you can search, filter, save and ask AI about everything the same way. AI agents can read the same inbox through MCP, the toopost CLI and the REST API.
An RSS reader only reads feeds. Toopost takes a plain URL and finds the feed, the sitemap or the article listing itself, follows channels that have no feed (Telegram, YouTube, Reddit, X, Instagram, TikTok and others), watches pages for changes, groups the same story across sources, and answers questions with citations into your own sources. It also exposes everything to AI agents.
Any website (feed, sitemap or article listing), RSS and Atom, Telegram, YouTube, Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon and the Fediverse, X, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, VK, LinkedIn, Facebook, Substack, Medium, Hacker News, GitHub, GitLab, Dev.to, Habr, Product Hunt, Stack Overflow, arXiv, Steam, WordPress, Ghost, Blogger, Tumblr, Apple Podcasts, Spotify shows, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Dailymotion, webhook inbox sources and OPML files. Private feeds with authentication, JavaScript-rendered sites and page watching are on Pro and Maxi.
AI answers and article translation are on every plan, including Free, and come out of a monthly AI usage budget. Free has base usage, Pro has 10× and Maxi has 30×. All plans use the same AI models. Answers cite the posts they come from.
Add the MCP server https://mcp.toopost.us in your client (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client with streamable HTTP) and sign in with OAuth. The agent can then search posts, read full text, list your sources, read saved posts and analyze trends. MCP is a read-only integration and requires the Maxi plan.
The npm package toopost. Run npx toopost login, then toopost feed --since 24h, toopost search, toopost ask, toopost saved and toopost sources. Every command has --json for scripts and coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex. The CLI requires Pro or Maxi, like API tokens. In CI, pass an API token as TOOPOST_TOKEN.
Yes. Create an API token in Connections → API (Pro and Maxi). The REST API is documented at go.toopost.us/api/docs with an OpenAPI 3.0 spec at /api/docs/openapi.json.
Free: $0 with 25 sources, daily updates, 100 saves and base AI usage. Pro: $5 a month or $50 a year with 100 sources, hourly updates, 10× AI usage, posts, webhooks, API tokens, the CLI and automations. Maxi: $15 a month or $150 a year with 300 sources, updates every 15 minutes, 30× AI usage, MCP for AI agents, alerts and webhook inbox sources. Every account starts on Free and can upgrade at any time.
Yes. Toopost is on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android, and the web app works in any browser and can be added to the home screen. Your sources, saved posts and settings sync across devices.
The client receives only the data returned by the tools it calls on your behalf: post titles, article text, source URLs, dates, saved posts and aggregate statistics. The AI provider processes it under its own privacy policy. You can disconnect a client at any time in its settings or revoke the token in Connections.
